Childhood, family and life experiences coupled with our innate genetic predispositions impact the coping mechanisms we develop throughout our lives. Our resilience, choices and the connections we develop with others also shape the behavioral and emotional patterns we develop. Sherry’s treatment philosophy is based on her core belief that we can all overcome and re-shape negative behaviors, thought processes and coping mechanisms through psychotherapy and other life choices. Side by side, she will explore any emotional, mental or relational patterns in your life that have been beneficial or have been barriers to your success. Working together, Sherry will help you identify your goals and the tools to help you succeed while using an empathic and non-judgemental approach.
Sherry’s therapeutic approach is determined by your goals as well as, what she determines to be clinically best based on initial and continued clinical evaluation. She believes that the first step is having the willingness to make a change. She is dedicated to providing you with a safe and supportive space on your journey toward improved emotional and mental well-being.
